I had such a bad experience at my last dentist that I hadn't been to a dentist in 6 years. My mother finally convinced me to switch to her dentist, and of course I had a cavity. Dr. Hamaty assured me the cavity was small, and after I told him my aversion to having a shot in my mouth, he gave me the option of beginning the drilling without an anesthetic, and told me to let him know as soon as I wanted it. It was uncomfortable, but virtually painless, and I had my cavity drilled and filled without ever needing a shot. :) I keep regular appointments now.

I've had a fear of dentists since childhood and had avoided dentists whenever possible. I was fanatic about my personal dental care to help me avoid dentists these days, visiting the dentist is no problem. I look forward to my appointments. Dr Hamaty is caring and gentle. His truly concerned about my comfort as much as he's concerned about my teeth, and I fully trust him, I appreciate all he's hone for my dental health. His office staff is friendly and caring. The camaraderie in the office and between Dr Hamaty and the dental staff is quite evident, making the visit even more enjoyable.

My first visit to Dr Hamaty's office was such a pleasant surprise. As I've visited many different dentist's in the past, I had unfortunately come to expect very little from them. Well, Dr Hamaty has certainly raised the bar. Within the first few minutes, I quickly realized that Dr Hamaty was not only focused on my teeth, but even more focused on developing a relationship with me. There as no doubt in my mind that I was all he was concerned with at that moment. In fact, this was one of the first times that I ever had a dentist say that there was no additional work needed, and he actually gave me a clean bill of health. What a pleasant surprise to know that I've found my dentist!

I've already referred my wife and a couple of friends to Dr Hamaty, and I will gladly continue to refer him to anyone looking for an honest, warm, and very capable dentist.
