| Rachel | I had such a bad experience at my last dentist that I hadn't been to a dentist in 6 years. My mother finally convinced me to switch to her dentist, and of course I had a cavity. Dr. Hamaty assured me the cavity was small, and after I told him my aversion to having a shot in my mouth, he gave me the option of beginning the drilling without an anesthetic, and told me to let him know as soon as I wanted it. It was uncomfortable, but virtually painless, and I had my cavity drilled and filled without ever needing a shot. :) I keep regular appointments now. | |
